Roger Del Campo has been a Jiu-Jitsu practitioner for 20 years and received his black belt under 4th Degree Black Belt Professor David Stegman. He has been teaching for over 10 years and has opened his own gym under SJJA.
Mike Tone is a veteran to the sport of wrestling. As an LISD coach since 1995, he has had the opportunity to impact youth athletes, including wrestling for the past 28 years. In 1995, he became the Cavazos Junior High wrestling coach and assisted at Lubbock High Wrestling as well. In 1996, he started Predator along Don Wise and others, which was the first Lubbock youth wrestling club, and he was instrumental to its success. After 2 years at Cavazos, he transferred to Evans JH where he coached from 1997-2018. While at Evans he also assisted Monterey High School team as well from 1997-2005. He then coached wrestling at Atkins JH from 2019-2020. In his spare time,
he began to train in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and won the NAGA Southwest Championship in Gi and No-Gi in 2011. He earned his black belt in 2013 and black belt with red bar in 2017. He has a unique approach, as he incorporates his BJJ skills into wrestling. He is committed to teaching high level technique to youth wrestlers in order to prepare them for junior high and high school competition.
Paul Schaub is a native from Lubbock, TX. He graduated from Monterey HS and played collegiate golf at Wayland Baptist and Hardin Simmon University. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Fitness with a minor in Psychology. He is level 1 PGA teaching professional and is in his 7th season of coaching youth wrestling. He has coached multiple elite dual wrestling teams; mostly notable being a coach for Team Texas this past spring. He dedicates his time to traveling with his son, Joshua, where he attends tournaments and camps and is able to learn from the best technicians in the country. He plans to provide an environment where an athlete is able to develop confidences, grit, high level technique, and discipline in order to succeed both on the wrestling mat and in life.
